SupTech Week 2023

From December 4th to 7th, the University of Cambridge SupTech Lab in collaboration with content partners the Bank of International Settlements Innovation Hub and the World Economic Forum, will be hosting ‘SupTech Week’, a forum to share ideas, research, solutions and insights on the digital transformation of financial supervision and encourage increased collaboration.

We are inviting a range of organisations, including financial authorities, standard setting bodies, think tanks, academia, technology providers, industry associations, multilateral agencies and philanthropic organizations to contribute to this event.

Organisations can propose and organize panels, fireside chats, tech sprints, and other activities aligned with the event's theme and objectives. Their expertise and thought leadership will play a crucial role in shaping the agenda and delivering valuable content to the participants.

The deadline for all submissions is Monday, November 20, 2023

Day 1 - Monday, December 4th: The current state of play

Current supervisory pain points that suptech is best placed to support

The emerging technologies that will shape the future of suptech

The role that international collaboration can play allowing solutions to scale

Other

Day 2 - Tuesday, December 5th: The anatomy of suptech

Developing and deploying new technologies in financial supervision

The factors beyond technology that are required to increase suptech adoption

Culture and leadership in the path to digital transformation

Experiences of embedding ‘innovation’ and new skill sets within financial authorities

The ways financial authorities can best share knowledge and best practices in suptech implementation

Day 3 - Wednesday, December 6th: The role of the private sector

‘Buy v build’, including bridging the procurement gap

Experiences of public and private collaboration to further suptech adoption

The relationship between regtech and suptech

How suptech solutions can be validated and shared

Notes:

Please note there is a limited number of slots for live sessions. Some sessions may be selected for on-demand viewing. If your proposal is
selected for on-demand viewing, we ask video recordings to be submitted no later than November 28, 2023.
Global live content will be slated preferably for 1pm-5pm BST | 8am -12pm ET, with regional and local sessions running outside of those hours as well.
All speakers will be asked to attend a tech rehearsal the week prior to the forum.
All live sessions will be recorded.
